Zygote to Stardust (2014-ongoing)
Work-in-progress (2014-current). This project is an introspective, photographic meditation on the creation of the contemporary female identity as a mother. Using personal experience as a point of departure, I use staged and still life photography to make images that express the nuanced and complex experience of motherhood, rejecting historical clichés and common platitudes.
